Terms
Terms of service
Last updated 2 July 2026
These are the terms for building and hosting your website with Lebanese Websites, a small studio that makes fast, affordable static websites for Lebanese businesses and people. We keep them short and plain on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain.
1. What we do
We build your website and host it for you at a link like lebwebs.com/yourwebsite. Prices and what each plan includes live on our pricing section. The price we agree when we speak is the price that counts. Any total shown when you place an order is a helpful estimate, and we confirm the real number with you before anything is due.
2. Your content is yours
You own your content: your text, images, logo, and brand. While you are subscribed we build and host the site on our setup. Owning your content does not mean you own our code or design system, but you can always take a full copy of your finished site (see moving away below).
3. Before launch: revisions
Every project includes two revision rounds on the private preview. A round is one consolidated list of changes, sent together. More rounds are $10 each. This keeps a project moving instead of drifting into endless small changes.
4. After launch: updates
Every new website comes with two free updates. After that, $10 buys a pack of two updates. Packs are credited to your account, work on any of your sites, and never expire.
One update is a single batch of content changes done in one go: swapping text, images, prices, opening hours, or menu items, up to about 30 minutes of work. If a batch will take meaningfully longer, we tell you before we start and it counts as two or more. New pages, new features, and redesigns are not updates. We quote those as extras. We deliver updates within 48 hours of getting your content. A rush update within 12 hours counts as two.
5. Paying us
Prices are in US dollars. You can pay in USD, or in Lebanese pounds at the market rate on the day you pay. For now that means Whish, OMT, bank transfer, or cash, with in app Whish coming later. Paying three months at once is welcome and means fewer transfers for everyone.
To start a project we take a deposit of half the upfront, rounded up to a whole dollar. The first month of hosting is included in your upfront, so it is free. After that, a small monthly fee keeps your site online.
6. If a payment is late
Life happens, so we are not harsh about it, but hosting is not free for us either. If a monthly payment is late, this is what to expect:
- At 7 days late, we send a friendly reminder.
- At 14 days, the site is paused. Billing keeps counting while it is paused.
- At 60 days, the site is removed. We keep a backup for 90 more days.
Come back within that backup window, settle up to two unpaid months plus the next one, and your site returns.
7. Deposits, refunds, and going quiet
Your deposit is fully refundable until we start work. Once work starts it is not refundable, because the two revision rounds exist to fix anything within scope. If you go quiet with no content and no replies for 30 days, we close the order, release your chosen name, and hold your deposit as credit toward a future order for six months.
8. Traffic, and your success
Every plan includes up to 50,000 page views a month, as measured by our analytics. That is far more than most small businesses ever use. If a site passes 50,000 views for two months in a row, monthly hosting becomes 1.5 times the plan monthly, rounded up, and we always tell you before anything changes. If traffic falls back under 50,000 for two months, the higher rate goes away. Above 150,000 views a month a site has outgrown the shared setup, and we quote custom infrastructure. That is a good problem to have. Please do not use the hosting to distribute large files such as videos or downloads, or to hotlink from other sites.
9. Moving away
You can leave whenever you like. A full static export is three times your site's monthly price, minimum $25, delivered as a zip. It scales with the site so large builds do not walk away for pennies, and we part as friends.
10. Your own domain
Prefer your own domain, like yourbusiness.com? We can set that up and manage the DNS for you. Mention it when you order and we sort out the details together.
11. Sites we can refuse or remove
We host every site under our own name and reputation, so we may refuse or remove any site that is illegal, impersonates a person or business, is defamatory, is a scam, is adult content, or copies someone else's work or brand, including stolen menu photos. Surprise and prank pages must be good natured and must never target a real person or business that did not agree to it. If we remove a site for one of these reasons, hosting already paid is not refunded.
12. The site is provided as is
We work hard to keep your site fast and online, but we cannot promise it will never have downtime, and we are not liable for losses that follow from an outage or a mistake beyond what you paid us. If something breaks on our side, tell us and we fix it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. The version on this page is the one that applies. If we make a meaningful change, we will do our best to let account holders know by email.
14. Contact
Questions about anything here? Ask from your account, or reply to any email we send you about an order. We get back to you within 48 hours, usually much faster.
