We keep this simple because our business is simple. We store the least we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. Here is exactly what happens to your information.
What we store
When you create an account we store your display name, your email, and the date you joined. When you place an order we store the details of the site you configured, the price at that moment, the email you gave us to reach you, and the status of the order as we work through it. That is it.
Accounts and orders are handled with Google Firebase, a trusted service that manages the sign in and the database for us. Your password is handled by Firebase and is never visible to us.
Why we store it
We store your email and order so we can actually build your site, reach you about it, host it, and bill the small monthly fee. We store your display name so your account feels like yours. We do not store anything we do not need for the work.
What we never do
We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising. We do not run advertising trackers on our site. For visitor numbers we use a privacy friendly, cookieless analytics that counts page views without following anyone from site to site, which is why you do not see a cookie banner here.
Cookies and staying logged in
To keep you logged in, Firebase stores a small token in your browser. That is a necessary part of signing in, not an advertising cookie. Clearing your browser storage logs you out, and nothing more.
Your choices
You can update your display name and change your password any time from your account settings. You can also delete your account right from your account page, or by replying to any email we send you about an order. Deleting removes your login immediately, any live site is handled under the moving away and cancellation terms, and some records tied to payments may be kept as long as we are required to keep them.
Children
Our service is meant for businesses and adults, and it is not directed at children. Please do not create an account if you are under the age where you can agree to these terms where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we store or how we use it, we will update this page, and for meaningful changes we will do our best to let account holders know by email.
